Our Story

Butt its just smoking

We smoke meat. Yup thats it, started in 2020, influenced by time spent many years ago in the USA and the fact I wanted to play with fire. Inspired mainly by Texas BBQ, we moved from a gazebo, to a horsebox, and now into a massive food truck. Our BBQ sauces, pickles, rubs all our sides and even our Texas potato bread are made fresh in house (in fact in 'truck'). Most of our meat is sourced from our local Farm which is a 2 minutes drive away!

We now have DIY bbq packs available to order for local delivery! 🐷🚛

Our BBQ packs come with a choice of our low & slow pulled pork or beef cheek, along with all the ingredients you need to make Barbacoa Tacos or Butt Rubs. We also have other meat options, as well as sides and sweet treats! All our meats are delivered vacuum packed to keep everything nice and chilled until you're ready to eat!

Deliveries are available on Fridays & Saturdays. To order your d.i.y pack and view all our options, visit the link in our bio!

This Saturday we will be at @battleswickfarm Beer Festival 🍻serving from 12-9.30pm (or till sold out!). There are a choice of 30 brewed ales 🍺 & 12 ciders 🍎 to be enjoyed along some Q&H food 🐷 and live music throughout the day 🎤

Tickets are available online for £5 or at the gate for £7 - we have included the link and more information on tickets, on our stories.

Unfortunately Shotley has been cancelled this week due to the forecasted thunderstorms ☹️🌩 nobody wants a soggy butt rub!

Like everything we serve, our cheese sauce is handmade, from the cheese grating to the sauce stirring, to create the golden goodness you love! 🫶🏼

They have lots of great wedding suppliers attending and will be showcasing their beautiful, refurbished barn! 💒
